Which country is hosting Eurovision 2025?

Thanks to Nemo's incredible win in Malmö, Sweden last year with their song 'The Code', Switzerland will host the Eurovision Song Contest for the 3rd time in 2025 having previously staged the competition in the first ever Eurovision Song Contest in Lugano in 1956 and then again in Lausanne in 1989.

This year's Eurovision Song Contest will be taking place in St. Jakobshalle, Basel, Switzerland.

Who are your hosts in Basel for Eurovision 2025?

This year's Eurovision Song Contest Semi-Finals will be hosted by Hazel Brugger and Sandra Studer.

Brugger is an award-winning Swiss-American stand-up comedian, slam poet and presenter. She is known for her quick wit, which will make her an asset on the presenter's panel. Studer is a Swiss singer who competed in the Eurovision Song Contest 1991, representing Switzerland. Even though she came fifth that year, she has been releasing music ever since. If anyone knows what it takes to compete in Eurovision, it's her.

Joining these two on the Grand Final stage will be Michelle Hunziker, a former model and one of Switzerland's most internationally recognised celebrities.

Who will be the Australian hosts for Eurovision 2025?

Logie-award winning presenter Tony Armstrong and multi-hyphenate entertainer and global icon Courtney Act are the new dynamic duo teaming up to take the helm of the commentary booth in their inaugural year at the 69th Eurovision Song Contest in Basel, Switzerland.

In the announcement of the news, Tony Armstrong said: “I’m so excited to jump into the world of Eurovision with the one and only Courtney Act who has already taken me under her wing. I’m definitely not envious of her brilliance and my jealousy won’t make it on screen I promise. Eurovision holds such a special place in so many hearts around the world. I look forward to being a part of the spectacle along with Courtney!”

Co-host Courtney Act said: “I was not prepared for how much I would enjoy Eurovision last year- and this year I’m back, now with everyone’s favourite IT man, Tony Armstrong (who I can confirm is just as delightful and dashing in real life as you’d expect). I’ll be offering my commentary expertise on every costume reveal, key change, wind machine and pyro moment I know Switzerland will deliver. Tony’s already taught me a thing or two about team sport energy, and I’ll be returning the favour with a crash course in camp!”

Did Australia's Go-Jo make the Grand Final?

Overnight in Basel, Switzerland, global viral pop sensation Go-Jo sadly did not progress through to the Grand Final of the 69th Eurovision Song Contest. Although our Milkshake Man did not qualify, his performance was the cream of the crop and had audiences and viewers alike frothing for his delicious eccentric song.

The solo project of Marty Zambotto, Go-Jo stirred up the song contest with his retro flair, high-octane showmanship, and that je ne sais quoi that follows wherever he goes. He captivated hearts from the moment he shared his unique talents with the world. His magnetic energy, endless creativity, and touch of the unexpected make him magic in motion.
