42nd death anniversary of Kazi Nazrul Islam, the national poet of Bangladesh

Today is the 42nd anniversary of the death of Kazi Nazrul Islam (1899-1976) who is the national poet of Bangladesh. Nazrul is also known as the rebel poet. He wrote diverse songs and plays addressing human relationship, human and women rights and other issues.
