Bangla speaking people of Bangladesh and India paid homage to Nobel laureate poet Rabindranath Tagore on his 155th birth anniversary. He was a versatile personality whose profound thoughts and writings continue to inspire. Tagore, who received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1913, was born on May 7, 1861. He died on August 7, 1941.
