Barnaby Joyce has announced he will step down on Monday

Mr Joyce has announced he will leave the Turnbull Government's cabinet after two Nationals colleagues expressed doubts over the viability of his leadership. He has faced more than two weeks of controversy over his relationship with his now-pregnant media adviser. Mr Joyce says it is incredibly important to have what he calls a "circuit-breaker," not just for the parliament but, more importantly, for his partner, their unborn child, his daughters and his wife.
