Brutality Against Humanity”. This photographic exhibition had showcase evocative photos of the Rohingha people taken this November in Bangladesh. The exhibition is being held to raise awareness and some funds for the Rohingya Community on the occasion of International Human Rights Day 2017 on 10th December. The Rohingya community from Myanmar has experienced unconscionable brutality from the Myanmar army. Hundreds of Rohingya villages have been burnt, thousands of people killed and raped, and millions terrorised. The army’s action was planned, coordinated and targeted. The Myanmar Rohingya community has no energy or skill to defend itself against trained forces, and only those who escaped survived. The UN estimates that more than 700,000 Rohingya fled to Bangladesh, itself an impoverished country with little capacity to help these thousands of victims.
