Canberra: the week in review

Prime Minister Scott Morrison returned to parliament this week for the first time since winning last month's Liberal leadership spill. But even as the Coalition tries to show a united front, the Liberal Party was wrought with division over the number of women within its ranks and claims of bullying within the party.

Last month's leadership spill has ushered in a dramatically different government -- at least in terms of titles. There's a new prime minister and a revamped Cabinet team.

But with former prime minister Malcolm Turnbull now in New York and former foreign minister Julie Bishop on the backbench, Opposition Leader Bill Shorten had a simple question for new prime minister Scott Morrison.
