Drama : Bhusan Pal

Drama Bhusan Pal was written by Rajshekhar Basu is better known as Parashuram. He was a writer, chemist and lexicographer, and a man of diverse achievements. Parashuram is known for his comic and satirical short stories, and is widely considered to be the greatest Bengali humorist of the twentieth century. He began his writing career in the 1920s, adopting the pen name of Parashuram.. . He received recognition for his writing being awarded with the Rabindra Purashkar, Akademi Puraskar, as well as the Padma Bhusan in 1956. Renowed flim maker Satyajit Ray directed two movies, Parash Pathar (The Philosopher's Stone)), and Mahapurush (The Holy Man), based on short stories by Parashuram.
