Mohammed Abdul Jabbar was a Bangladeshi singer. His powerful songs inspired the freedom fighters during the liberation war of Bangladesh. He was one of the artistes of the 1971 war-time radio station: Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra.
Abdul Jabbar, best known for his patriotic songs like Salam Salam Hazar Salam and Joy Bangla, Banglar Joy, has passed away. He was 80.
