To celebrate Eid, many members of Adelaide's Bangladeshi community headed back to their homeland. SBS Bangla spoke with the Mahbub Siraz Tuhin, Chairperson of South Australian Bangladeshi Community Association about the Eid preparations of Bangladeshi expatriates. In the month of Ramadan, Bangladeshi expatriate organised numerous Iftar party in Adelaide.
"A large part of Bangladeshi expatriate are going to their home country to celebrate Eid," said Mahbub Siraz Tuhin. "Those who will celebrate Eid here, they are doing shopping from community's small traders. Some of them doing online shopping as well."
"Bangladeshi shops in Adelaide also organised Iftar items," said Mahbub Siraz Tuhin.
