Myanmar is systematically wiping out the Rohingya population

The Rohingyas are considered to be originated from the Indo-Aryan ethnic group from Arakan. The origin of the word Rohingya has always been a controversial subject. The torture perpetrated on the ethnic Muslim minority in Myanmar has been quite unparalleled in modern history. A team led by former UN chief Kofi Annan arrived in Myanmar's northwestern Rakhine State on Friday to address the plight of Rohingya Muslims, amid an army crackdown that has killed at least 86 people and sent 10,000 fleeing to Bangladesh
