Sabrin Farooqui has been awarded ‘Local Woman of the Year’ for the Bankstown Electorate of NSW on the International Women’s Day 2018. She got this award for her contribution to Bankstown and the broader community. Sabrin volunteers to assist refugee settlement and also working to improve disadvantaged women's mental health in Bangladesh.
