Ramadan commemorates the first revelation of the Quran

The Holy month of Ramadan for Muslims will begin on Monday, 6th May 2019 in Australia as announced by the Australian National Imams Council. Australian Muslim Welfare Centre's President Mr Golam Kibria explained the benefits and importance of fasting. The Muslim holy month of Ramadan commemorates the first revelation of the Quran.
