The rate of participation and leadership in Australian politics is very low among the Bengali community. Bengali people are more interested to participate in their diaspora politics of Bangladesh. If Bengali people can be elected as a Parliament member in the United Kingdom, as a mayor in the Netherlands, why not in Australia? Bengali community people need to come up sincerely in Australian politics if they want to serve their community or Australia in greater perspectives. There are some successes among the Bengali community people in the bottom tier of the Australian political system such as City Council. However, it is not enough at all said researcher, author, moderator and the keynote speaker of the roundtable discussion Dr Shakhawat Nayon,
