Britain is threatening to cut off funding to any organisation that does not comply with a new review into charities' work overseas. The threat comes amid reports of sexual misconduct in Haiti by staff of the British-based charity Oxfam. Oxfam Australia has condemned the alleged misconduct and says it has protocols in place to prevent sexual harassment, exploitation and abuse. One of the world's biggest charity organisations, Oxfam, is facing growing criticism over its handling of misconduct allegations against a group of its workers in Haiti after a huge earthquake in 2010. The allegations became public following a report in The Times newspaper. At least seven people, including the charity's country director for Haiti at the time, allegedly used prostitutes at a villa Oxfam rented for him in the aftermath of the earthquake.
