The federal government is threatening to use its numbers in the House of Representatives to refer Labor M-P's to the High Court over their citizenship status. It comes a day after Liberal M-P John Alexander resigned from parliament over possible dual citizenship. Senior Liberal Christopher Pyne says Opposition Leader Bill Shorten needs to address questions over the potential dual citizenship of Labor members. There have been questions raised over whether Labor M-Ps Justine Keay and Susan Lamb, held dual citizenship at the time of the 2016 election.
