Sa kabila ng matinding diskriminasyon na kanyang naranasan noong mga unang taon niya sa Queensland Australia, si Esther Hoy ay naging isang matagumpay na chef at café manager. Ang dating domestic helper sa Hong Kong na si Esther Hoy ay muling nag-aral ng culinary arts at management, kalaunan ay naging isang ganap na kwalipikadong chef at namamahala ng kanilang pangalawang café sa Gold Coast.

We don’t earn much from it, but it’s rewarding to see that some of the students I have mentored are now residents here and they are mentoring younger students too.
