For decades, world trade in goods and services expanded. But the signs have changed recently. Globalization has stalled. The political climate in many places has also turned against the unhindered exchange of goods. In this difficult environment, SwissCham supports large and small companies from Switzerland in Australia. SwissCham is celebrating its 40th anniversary in July. Martin Scarpino is the head of the chamber. He looks back on history, but also on the challenges and opportunities of trade in the future.
