AfD founds new youth organization “Generation Germany” — accompanied by protests

More than 800 AfD members in Gießen voted to found the new youth organisation “Generation Germany” after the predecessor organisation “Young Alternative”, which was classified as “far-right”, was dissolved in March. The meeting was accompanied by massive protests, which also led to violent clashes with the police.
