For 50 years, the Australian-German Student Exchange has awarded scholarships to Australian students to visit Germany for 10 weeks and attend school.
The exchange program aims to give students an insight into a foreign culture and build friendships between the youth of these two countries, says Victorian President Dr Martin Schlegel in an interview with SBS Radio.
