The housing shortage in Australia's metropolitan areas is severe. Experts estimate that we will be short by 400,000 houses by 2029. But how can this problem be solved? An exhibition in Melbourne is looking at Vienna, where state-sponsored housing is a top priority - and might offer a solution.


The exhibition “The Vienna Model of Affordable Housing” can currently be seen in the lobby of RMIT University on Victoria Street in Melbourne.
