Synaesthesia is a neurological condition that results in a merging of senses that aren’t normally connected. For example, someone with synaesthesia may hear colour or see sound.
James Wannerton has synaesthesia. He was born in Manchester, England, and presently lives in Stuttgart, Germany. He's the President of the UK Synaesthesia Association and has a rare type of synaesthesia, which gives him the ability to taste sounds.
