When Iris Brandewiede sent me this extra programme from Germany, we thought that the Corona pandemic was finally coming to an end. Far from it! Her 14-part satirical series, the column, "Corona Chronicles", was sent to us by the literary "Hausfrau & Mutter, berufstätig" (housewife & mother, working), during what we assumed was the worst time. The series was already finished. But since we liked it so much, I asked her for another little story, a wish she complied with stante pede. "The day my child fell from the sky" falls in the time of breathing easy again after the first wave. It is about the author's daughter, who made a bucket list for the time after the lockdown, whose first wish has already been fulfilled here.
