Your home can make you sick, especially when it doesn't meet basic standards that have been essential requirements in European countries for many years. However, there is a building concept that has increased the wellbeing and health benefits of its dwellers: the Passive House.
Although the passive house cannot claim the most prominent spot in the current housing market, it has come a long way in recent years. The passive house is now even at the centre of an annual conference, organised by its own interest group, the Australian Passive House Association (APHA). Oliver Heuthe has visited the Melbourne conference and spoken to many representatives from the AUS/NZ passive house industry.
