An international research team has spotted a large group of rare Napoleon wrasse off Tuvalu — an indication of the resilience of the habitat there. The expedition was part of the National Geographic Society's Pristine Seas project, which is committed to global marine protection. Local protected zones, which are supported by municipalities, are considered the key to maintaining biodiversity.
