Four years in prison for cutting down a tree

Two men were sentenced to more than four years in prison each for felling the well-known Sycamore Gap tree in Great Britain. The tree is a popular and world-famous landmark whose dramatic silhouette even starred in a Hollywood movie. He is said to have been an estimated 200 years old. Reactions to the verdict are mixed.
