German doner kebab in Brisbane with connection to Mongolia

In Brisbane, you can eat doner kebab made according to a German recipe. However, the owners Mary and Jay do not originate from Germany, but from Mongolia. In an interview, they explain how the German doner kebab found its way to Brisbane.
