Global arms spending rises to record levels — SIPRI Report 2024

According to the 2024 SIPRI report, more money is being spent on armaments worldwide than ever before — and the trend continues upwards. Wars, crises and geopolitical tensions are driving spending to record levels. Europe, the Middle East and East Asia in particular are massively upgrading.
