How do you survive twelve days in the Australian bush?

For eleven nights and twelve days, German backpacker Carolina Wilga wandered through the western Australian bush. Miraculously, she survived and was discovered by chance. The whole of Australia — and Germany — followed the search for her and was relieved when she was safe again. Authorities and experts are now urging travellers in Australia to follow important safety and survival measures when travelling to remote areas.
