How happy are the Germans with their government?

After just over four months in government, the ARD-Deutschlandtrend is showing a bitter result for Chancellor Friedrich Merz: According to surveys, only 42 percent of Germans are satisfied with the country's democracy and only one in five German citizens are happy with the federal government's work.
