In Geneva, representatives of the USA, the EU and Ukraine negotiated the US plan to end the war in Ukraine. Following the meeting, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio expressed optimism. But there are still some unanswered questions in regards to the role of the EU, NATO and security guarantees. German Chancellor Friedrich Merz seemed to be deeply concerned about the financial aspects of the US plan.
