On the 24th of September, 61.5 million eligible German voters will decide who will lead them going foward. High time to ask an authoritative expert and journalist who wrote not one but two books about the likely winner.
The 54-year-old political journalist and book author is deputy editor-in-chief of the German news magazine Der Spiegel.
He visited Melbourne and Canberra in late August/early September and spoke extensively with SBS German at our Federation Square studio.
