Marginalised as a German on Anzac Day?

Today is ANZAC Day. Even before dawn, hundreds of thousands of people gather to commemorate the victims of the First World War and in particular the tragic landing at Gallipoli, where 16 thousand Australians and New Zealanders lost their lives. As a German, you always feel marginalised on this day - certainly not without reason. That doesn't have to be the case, says Consul General Felix Schwarz: Anzac Day certainly offers Germans positive experiences.
