Martin Luther is alive and kicking -but only as a wooden marionette sculptured by Roland Richter.
Richter's family has been travelling around Germany for generations entertaining children and parents with their puppet shows.
Correspondent Daniel Salg caught up with Richter after one of his performance in Nuremberg.
