Melbourne stamp dealer Max Stern has sadly passed away. The post-war migrant from Bratislava, who grew up in Vienna, died shortly before his 95th birthday. Stern was an international authority in the world of stamps and coins. He was also known for playing soccer well into his 80s! We honour the Holocaust survivor with an obituary.
