Subdued reactions to coalition agreement

Germany will soon have an effective government again. The conservative CDU/CSU Union and the SPD have presented their coalition agreement: The paper states that economic growth in particular should be a priority. Environmental associations, on the other hand, fear setbacks in climate protection. There is also uncertainty as to who should become the new ministers in the cabinet of Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz. However, the new government should be in place in May. But why is it taking so long?
