Poochera in South Australia has just 34 inhabitants. The tiny hamlet in the outback is about to collapse, but a "dinosaur ant" could help now. It once came to prominence, when travel writer Bill Bryson, who chose the ant to introduce his readers to the fifth continent in his ever-popular classic "Breakfast with Kangaroos".
