Today, we are inviting you to accompany us on a bicycle tour through the Ruhrgebiet - even along the Emscher, the sewer of Germany. Thats what the waterway was called, until the dirty industry along its shore started to disappear. Now the river is being renaturated and the liquid effluents are diverted underground. And to show the new approach on all levels, an art exhibition takes place along the cleaned up part of the Emscher, with lots of installations to see, hear and even sleep in.
