The Liedertafel is the oldest continuing male choir and the second-oldest continuing choir of any type in Australia. Founded in 1858 the Adelaider Liedertafel has won Germany's highest choir award, the Zelter Plaque, and even sang for ex-US-president Bill Clinton. Peter Reeh has been the choir's president for more than 30 years.
