To talk about this subject matter, Dr Thomas Jaermann, musicologist and currently research associate at Zurich University came to our studios. Based on a collection of tapes from the fifties and sixties, the research team examines how the national Swiss radio tried to create a feeling of national indentity, especailly for Swiss people who lived abroad.
