A lot of people in Australia react surprised if you tell them that it takes years to become a Lifeguard in Germany. Fact is, the training schedule is vigorous and it can take up to five years to gain the qualification as "Bademeister". Also this week, we talk about sexist advertisements and a new subject in year 12: "Plattdeutsch"!
