Ministers at odds over Wuhan evacuation costs

As the federal government is preparing to transfer Australians who are in the Chinese city of Wuhan, the epicenter of the coronavirus epidemic, to Christmas Island, two ministers contradict each other over who will pay for the transportation costs.


Another headache for the government is the resignation of Bridget McKenzie, a former sports minister and current deputy leader of the Nationals, who has fallen on her sword in the wake of the so-called sports rorts scandal. Federal politics expert, Paul Scutti, reports.
