Si definisce anglo-italiano perché è cresciuto tra l'Australia, il Canada e, appunto, il Bel Paese, ma come molti emigranti Alex Baudo si sente spesso italiano all'estero e straniero in Italia.
La sua ultima fatica musicale, dal titolo "Alive from the other side of the world", è un album registrato dal vivo durante un concerto all'Università di Ballarat, in Victoria.
