James Panichi and Karen Ingram grew up in different states and different families without knowing that they shared the same father. They found each other only recently, thanks to a DNA test.
Karen and James tell us (in English) about the extraordinary chain of events that led them to discover they have a dad in common.
Karen Ingram grew up in the 1960s in an adoptive family residing in Newcastle, a family of Scottish origin who raised her with love.
Later, her search for her biological family led her to find her mother quite easily, but finding her Italian father's identity proved to be much more difficult.
Meanwhile the Panichi family had no idea of her existence.
