“A Nepali Volunteer!?”: An eyewitness account of a Nepali volunteer from flood Shepparton

Meena Malla has been volunteering at a local Emergency Relief Centre in flood-ravaged Shepparton in northern Victoria.

As many parts of regional Victoria are going through the major flood crises, we spoke with Meena Malla, who has been devoting her time to the local Emergency Relief Centre in Shepparton in the north of the state. She briefed SBS Nepali about the ongoing relief effort and how the Nepali community is doing amidst the crisis.
