Sydney childcare worker sentenced after pleading guilty to multiple child assault charges

A childcare worker has been convicted and sentenced after pleading guilty to multiple common assault charges involving children at a centre in Sydney’s south-west. Jayendra Shahi, 24, of Nepali background, was found guilty in the Bankstown Local Court after admitting to three counts of common assault at a childcare centre in Panania.”
