Dental Health Week: Is going to a dentist, money down the drain?

A new report by the Australian Dental Association shows that three-quarters of Australians rarely or never floss their teeth, while one in five brush only once daily. The disturbing new data comes to light ahead of this year's Dental Health Week [August 7-13]. Anju Prajapati Maharjan, a Nepali dentist based in Sydney, spoke to SBS Nepali about the dental habits of Nepalis living in Australia and busted the common myth in the community that going to a dentist is ‘a waste of money.’
