Following Prime Minister Anthony Albanese's appearance at a Nepali community event in Canberra, photos from the occasion have gone viral on social media, thrilling Nepalis around the world.
It comes as Prime Minister Albanese attended the annual general meeting (AGM) of the Nepali umbrella organisation, the Federation of Nepali Community Associations of Australia (FeNCAA), at Parliament House, Canberra, on Tuesday, 11 August 2026.
Alongside the Prime Minister, Federal Assistant Minister for Defence Peter Khalil, Shadow Assistant Minister for Citizenship and Multicultural Affairs Dave Sharma and several other Australian MPs were also in attendance.
