Crafting spin while carrying culture: Victoria's U-15 cricket captain Kaevish Bhasin

Kaevish Bhasin wears his cultural headgear, the ‘patka’, with pride and hopes to don the gold and green baggy with equal honour. Currently the captain of Victoria’s Under-15 cricket team, the 14-year-old says he has been playing the gentleman's game since he was five. He has also been selected to train at the Indian Premier League Academy. He has already broken several records, including the stellar innings of 142 runs in the Downing Shield last season.
