In a landmark cultural exchange, the National Indian Film Festival of Australia (NIFFA) is being held across 14 Australian cities. Over 32 films in 18 different languages will be screened as part of this celebration of Indian cinema. Speaking to SBS Punjabi, Indian-origin Member of the Legislative Council of Western Australia, Dr Parvinder Kaur, said the festival is a great opportunity to connect Australian audiences with the Indian film industry, its artists, and its rich linguistic diversity.
