Almost three decades ago, Western Sydney’s Tanvir Ishaq and Arshia Malik left their home in Pakistan to build a new life in Australia. Since then, the couple has continued to observe Ramadan, the holiest month in Islam. They are now passing on their faith and traditions to their children, Minal and Rayaan Tanvir. In this podcast, the family reflects on how celebrating Ramadan and Eid has evolved across generations in Australia and how they continue to stay connected to their faith in a diverse cultural environment.
